		<description>It&#039;s so tough to stick to any kind of training schedule with classes wrapping up and finals on the horizon, but it does provide a good outlet for my frustration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&#039;m doing it purely to prove to myself that I can do it.  If it goes well and if I can get a couple more 5Ks in during the spring, I might try to run the Peachtree in July.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In any case, thanks for all your words of encouragement, I really appreciate it! :)</description>

I&#039;m slower than molasses and not a natural runner so it&#039;s proving to be a fun challenge.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was puzzling the other day about how I was so athletic in high school in college, then I realized that because I played goalkeeper in soccer and hooker in rugby (no prostitute jokes, please), I never had run for long periods of time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I&#039;ll keep updating on my progress. 		<description>When I was training for a half-marathon (and I&#039;m a tank on feet, not a runner) I found that running every other day and getting really comfy running shoes let me improve my conditioning quite well.  That and sometimes taking 2 Tylenol before warming up.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2 months to train for a 5K.  Quite doable.  Good luck!!!</description>
